I've been reading everyone's resolutions today. A few of the 'usuals'...lose weight, procrastinate less, eat less, etc. We all have those...but they are so hard to live by. But I wish each of you the best!
Teena had a great scheme for combining her blogging and her fitness...that she says she got from someone else...but still, a fun idea.
Some folks have deeply moving resolutions about new directions in their lives. And I hope each comes to life for you.
For me, I don't usually make resolutions. But anyone reading along knows I turned 50 this year. So I am trying to work a little harder on good fitness. For me, that means exercising more, eating more fruit, eating fewer potato chips (my greatest weakness when it comes to snacking), flossing, and going to various doctors and dentists when they say I should and not just when I'm in pain. Not because I'm 50 and getting old. But because I'm 50 and I'm giving myself a tune-up so I'll be ready to kick butt for the next 50 years!
Hope you have a great 2007...and beyond!

Think of it as not getting older, but getting better. All of us have areas in our personal lives to make better.
50? You don't look a DAY over 45.
Happy 2007. 2007?? Dang. I still can't believe that.
Resolutions aren't mandatory, right?
Floss - do not forget to floss - very very important =)
Happy New Year!
I'm with you on the 50 thing. Although I am just 48, I am getting ready for the future. I hope to start doing yoga regularly this year, for one thing.
No resolutions for me either. I don't need anything else to fail at this year. :)
Best wishes for your resolutions! Potato chips are my favorite snacks as well, next to Cheez-its. :)
I have no desire to guilt myself with a resolution. I like me just fine. I will start exercising more though- with the aging thing and the well.. whatnots I seem to be slowing down.
Cheers to a new year!!!
Very good list, Em!
I don't make resolutions as I usually break 'em. I want to live forever and I'm not getting any younger ... so I've got to take better care of what I've been given.
I'll do some time of the treadmill thanks to you tomorrow!
I don't usually make resolutions either, but I'm making them this year. All health related.
Thank you for stopping by my blog! I haven't made resolutions in a couple of years and the ones I made before I believe I broke each one. haha I have made a couple this year that I think I'll be able to keep just to keep me on track with my writing and finances. Happy New Year!
Happy New Year!
Resolutions schmezolutions.
Yeah, not too big on the resolutions either.
But I have to admit, they get us thinking about habits we should be doing.
Man, all these awards are starting to clutter up my sidebar...
Maybe my resolution shoud be to lowere the quality of my blog?
I've posted some new year resolution tips on my blog - in case anybody wants to give resolutions a second chance..!
The problem is this: we sit there and write out a few things we want to do in the new year... then we go and watch tv or have a cup of coffee and it's all forgotten.
They can work; for some, they do work. It's just a question of knowing how to make them work.
Anyway, have a great new year all,
Julius

Thank you for the email.
I'll do my best to maintain a very high standard blog.
That means no celebrity photos and no UTube in the new year.
50? I'm scared to turn 40 in two years. :(
