So what to do when it rains?

That's right...the 60/80 conundrum yesterday left us wondering what to do for fun. And all the kids said bowling! Something we had not all done together in years. But we headed to the lanes and had a great time!

Son21...

Daughter14...

and Son17 all showed off their styles.

And they all thought they would kick dad's butt. They didn't! Na na na na na na! But trust me, my score was nothing to brag about. In fact, I have photos of the electronic score sheet. But its my blog and I see no reason to embarrass myself by posting that! :)

I haven't bowled in years. And considering how I bowl that's probably a good thing.

Perfect way to spend a rainy afternoon :)

Good choice. ANd you never get past wanting to best the kids do you? I worked hard not to gloat at my win in mini-golf on our vacation.

You're supposed to let your kids win!

*grin* Glad you and the fam. found a fun way to spend a rainy weekend day!! Good to hear that the kiddo's couldn't yet kick your butt at bowling.

Hope this coming weekend is considerably sunnier and more appropriate to camping! (And, VERY glad to hear that you're not one of those guys who wears a thong. I don't even think Orlando Bloom could possible look good in a thong, much less some of the guys who do dare wear them. *wry smile*)

Ooh, I love bowling - as long as no one takes it seriously. It can be the most hilarious time! Looks like you had a, er, (bowling) ball.

You must hold off on your kids beating you in anything as long as you can....and once they do you must train their future kids to beat them...
