A nod to Winston Rand at nobody asked.... Winston passed away on Saturday. He was a very good online friend - someone who encouraged me a lot in my efforts at blogging. And he was an excellent writer with a great outlook on life.
His voice will be missed.

I'm sorry for your loss. Once again I have to say that this blogging community we all live in is amazing...even though we don't all *know* each other, we are intertwined in each others lives...
Em, Winston was more than a "pretty good guy," as Roomie put it. He will be sorely missed. Such wit and straight-shootin' are rare. Rest well, Winston! (Send us a sign if you've met Carlin.)
